Death Stranding have confirmed a global concert tour will kick off later this year.Announced by creator Hideo Kojima as part of his recent Death Stranding presentation at SXSW Festival, the ‘Death Stranding: Strands Of Harmony’ world tour will feature music from the 2019 original and upcoming sequel On The Beach.Created in collaboration with SOHO Live, the producers of the Stardew Valley world concert tours, ‘Strands Of Harmony’ will kick off on November 8, 2025 (the sixth anniversary of Death Stranding’s original release) in Sydney before hitting London on November 16. In total, the 19-date tour will visit 12 countries across four continents and end with a gig in Toronto on March 28, 2026.“Embark on a journey to connect with fellow Porters through the power of music, and come together in locations across the world to celebrate the music of Death Stranding live,” reads the official description of the show.

Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, a documentary about the creation of Death Stranding, now has an official date for its release on Disney+.After a screening at the Tribeca Film Festival last June, Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds is heading to Disney+ on February 23.The 60 minute film offers “a journey into the creative mind of the most iconic video game designer in the world,” according to the official description, with the documentary following Kojima as he launches his own Kojima Productions studio and creates Death Stranding.“This visually captivating documentary gives a rare insight into Hideo Kojima’s creative process [and] explores the power and potential of video games as an art form through the work of an influential talent revered by millions worldwide.”Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds also features appearances from a number of collaborators and famous fans, including Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid and CHVRCHES. A trailer released last year saw Reedus compare Kojima to Willy Wonka.Kojima started working at Konami in 1986 and went on to design the likes of Metal Gear Solid before launching Kojima Productions in 2011.

Kojima Productions could be acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Hideo Kojima has confirmed that his development studio will remain independent.Kojima clarified the status of his studio earlier today (April 15), after he shared an image of an updated PlayStation Studios banner on his Twitter.
