But something that likely won’t change for the 39-year-old singer is the custody agreement she and ex Kevin Federline have established for their two sons, so says Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

He and his family are back in the spotlight amid Brit’s controversial conservatorship, and claims that he used their two kids as “pawns” between Brit and her father Jamie Spears, 68. Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, told Page Six on June 30, “Kevin has never used his children as pawns for anything. Kevin has always acted, putting the kids first,” the attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said to Page Six on June 30. Kaplan went on to explain that “things” Kevin did were “for the sake of the health and well being” of their kids Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14.

Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told E! News on June 25 that he wants the best for his ex-wife. “What is best for her, Kevin supports her in being able to do that. It doesn’t matter how positive of an effect a conservatorship has had if it’s having a deleterious effect and detrimental effect on her state of mind. So he supports her having the best environment for her to live in and for his children to visit with their mother in,” Mark explained.
