Dead By Daylight has teased that the 1979 sci-fi horror film Alien will be crossing over with the game – with more to come soon.Alien is one of the most requested crossovers from Dead By Daylight‘s community.A new teaser shows that there appears to be a new Killer as well as a map.The clip, posted today (August 1), shows the film’s title fading into the foreground with locations including the Nostromo’s table where the creature is “birthed” from crew member Kane’s chest.Hints that the Xenomorph will feature in Dead By Daylight were first uncovered four months ago. Kendrick Pejoro, franchise management coordinator at Disney Studios, liked a reply from a fan on the social media site X (FKA Twitter).“Alien for DBD’s 7th anniversary this year,” was the fan’s guess, which Pejoro responded to, but developer Behaviour Interactive didn’t acknowledge the interaction.

Slipknot are getting their Dead By Daylight debut, thanks to an upcoming cosmetic collection.In a livestream on the official Dead By Daylight YouTube channel (which you can watch below), associate art director Leisha Riddel described the crossover. The Slipknot cosmetics being added to the game include seven masks and one full outfit; these designs are all based on “core” Slipknot members, but have been altered slightly to better fit with the style of the horror game.Subliminal Menace for The Legion is the outfit coming to Dead By Daylight, and will feature a white mask and flowing robes inspired by DJ Sid Wilson.Next up is a Metallic Grill for The Wraith, based on guitarist Mick Thomson, along with the Dominant Eye for The Deathslinger, which is based on guitarist Jim Root.

Dead By Daylight and Iron Maiden have teamed up for a new collaboration that is available right now.The new collaboration is available for purchase today (22 February) , and includes several new legendary outfits in the form of Iron Maiden mascot Eddie The Head. Four different killers have new Eddie outfits, with The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger and The Oni all receiving the Iron Maiden treatment.Survivors in the game are able to unlock and equip new tour shirts that feature Eddie The Eagle prominently.

Dead By Daylight board game is being released by Behaviour Interactive this Halloween.The tabletop version of the asymmetrical multiplayer game will see two to four players become Survivors, with one other player becoming the Killer. The board game version will operate similarly to the video game, as Survivors will need to turn on generators and escape, whilst the Killer will try sacrifice each player one-by-one.Items, perks, interactive props and the Trial Grounds will all show up in the game, as the project is a a collaboration between Behaviour Interactive and board game designer Level 99 Games.There will also be a Kickstarter campaign that opens on March 29, with two versions of the game available for pre-order.
