2NE1 have announced the kick-off dates for their upcoming 2024 to 2025 comeback world tour, titled ‘Welcome Back’.Today (July 25), 2NE1 and their agency YG Entertainment announced the first two dates for their upcoming 2024 to 2025 world tour. It comes just days after the girl group revealed that they would be reuniting, eight years after disbanding in 2016.The K-pop quartet will kick off their new world tour over two nights in October at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea.

TREASURE recently brought out 2NE1‘s CL as a surprise special guest at their recent ‘Reboot’ encore concert in Seoul.TREASURE held a concert at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea on August 15, which was also the final date of the YG Entertainment boyband’s ‘Reboot’ tour of Asia in May and June. To wrap up the show, they surprised audiences by bringing out labelmate CL of girl group 2NE1.During her surprise appearance, CL performed mash-up of two of her older songs: 2013 solo debut single ‘The Baddest Female’ and the 2014 track ‘MTBD’, from 2NE1’s second studio album ‘Crush’.

K-pop group 2NE1 may soon be making a comeback.On June 28, YG Entertainment shared that 2NE1’s CL, Dara, Park Bom and Minzy met with its executive producer Yang Hyun-suk the day prior. According to the agency, they shared a “extremely meaningful” two-hour discussion.“As this was [Yang’s] and the 2NE1 members’ first conversation in eight years, although no concrete plans have been made, Yang – who has particular affection for 2NE1 – listened to the members’ requests and empathised with them,” said YG per Soompi.

2NE1 will meet up with Yang Hyun-suk, the head of their former agency YG Entertainment, amid reunion rumours.Earlier today (June 25), South Korean news outlet OSEN reported that all four members of 2NE1 have set up plans to meet with YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk. It comes shortly after previous reports that member CL had dinner with Yang prior to the group’s 15th anniversary in May.In response to today’s report, YG Entertainment has confirmed that 2NE1 “are scheduled to meet” with the K-pop agency’s founder.

K-pop girl group 2NE1 have celebrated their 15th anniversary together.On May 17 at midnight KST, former 2NE1 members CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom and Minzy took to Instagram to share a series of photos from a recent shoot to commemorate their 15th anniversary. The quartet shared their love and gratitude for their fans (called Blackjack) while leader CL penned messages in Korean and English.“Today on May 17 as we celebrate our 15th birthday, we wanted to thank all of those who have loved, supported, laughed and cried with us all this time, so we’re standing in front of the camera together for the first time in a long while,” she wrote in Korean.CL then added in English: “2NE1 has always been my house that made me feel the freedom to love, to play, to express, to create, to shine, to mix, to connect and share with people.

CL has dropped a brand-new music video for ‘Chuck’, a track off her debut studio album ‘ALPHA’.Today (May 13), the K-pop star dropped the powerful visual for ‘Chuck’, which stars choreographer Parris Goebel and her dance crew. Goebel previously worked with CL on her 2015 single ‘Hello Bitches’, which she and her dance crew had also starred in the music video for.CL, Goebel and the dance crew are seen in the clip dressed in matching, all-black tracksuits, as they perform the dance routine to the high-energy track.

CL has dropped a long-awaited music video for ‘Let It’, from her debut album ‘ALPHA’.On October 27, the K-pop veteran released a charming new music video for  ‘Let It’, the fifth track from her recent debut album ‘ALPHA’, making it the sixth track from the record to receive a video treatment. In the visual, CL sits atop a huge water tank in the middle of a desert, singing into the sky.“Don’t worry it can go / Always do what you feel / Regrets comes with rewarding without doing it,” she sings energetically in the refrain, as several shots of CL in the same desert with a red sports car appear on screen.Last week, the former 2NE1 leader dropped her long-awaited full-length album ‘ALPHA’ alongside a chic music video for ‘Tie A Cherry’.

CL has shed some light on her hiatus from music, admitting that it was “the hardest thing” she has had to do.The musician recently spoke to W Magazine about how her break from music, which she took following her solo performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics, had been both rewarding and challenging for her.“I was working since, I don’t know, 15 or something, constantly,” CL noted, referencing her time as a 2NE1 member since the group’s debut in 2009 and the beginning of her solo career in 2013. “So for me to take some time off, even that was the hardest thing.

CL has released the music video for ‘Lover Like Me’, the second single off her upcoming album ‘ALPHA’.The edgy clip features shots of CL in a number of brightly coloured sets, including a room covered in sunflowers and blonde braids, similar to the ones the singer is wearing, as well as a red-tinted studio full of vintage television sets.“I just got to let you know / If you’re gonna let me go / You will never ever find another lover like me / No lover like me,” she sings on the pre-chorus before the beat drops.CL co-wrote ‘Lover Like Me’ alongside Korean rapper Nafla and British singer-songwriter Anne Marie.
