Oasis legend Bonehead has thanked fans for their support after revealing that he's been diagnosed with cancer. The rhythm guitarist, whose real name is Paul Arthurs, announced on Twitter yesterday (Tuesday April 26) that he was starting treatment for tonsil cancer.

"I've been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but t he good news is it's treatable and I'll be starting a course of treatment soon." He continued: "I'll keep you posted how it's going, I'm gutted I'm missing the gigs with Liam and the band.
