A suspect in a murder investigation was out on licence from prison and wearing a tag following a previous violent offence - and had been seen by neighbours 'hiding in bushes' before the tragedy, the Manchester Evening News can reveal.
An investigation into the death of mother Perseverance Ncube, 35, in Little Hulton, Salford, is ongoing. A 45-year-old was arrested following a manhunt.
The suspect, an asylum seeker, had been released from prison after serving a lengthy sentence for section 18 wounding, the M.E.N.
has learned. He was electronically tagged. Greater Manchester Police has made a domestic homicide review referral in relation to the case.
