Carpio has been cast in a recurring role Chicago Med.The actress/singer, 41, will play the role of Dr. Grace Song on the NBC series, Deadline reported Tuesday, joining a cast that includes Marlyne Barrett and Nick Gehlfuss.Carpio's character Song - who she had past played on a 2015 episode of the Dick Wolf-produced series - is a doctor newly hired by Jack Dayton (Sasha Roiz) who will make an impact when the show returns with new episodes next year.
