Steven J. Horowitz Senior Music Writer SZA isn’t done with fine-tuning “Lana,” the deluxe version of her blockbuster sophomore album “SOS” that released in December.
The singer, poised to perform with Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, will honor her appearance by adding new songs to the album.
She revealed the news on the landing page of her official site, stating that the new songs will drop on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. ET, just a half-hour after the big game kicks off.
SZA previously promised that an updated version of “Lana” would arrive on Jan. 6, though that date came and went. After one fan called her “unprofessional” on social media, SZA responded, “Cause sample clearances always happen within the preferred time frame lmao?
