Britain's Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas has candidly spoken out about her journey on the show which catapulted her to stardom.
The 29-year-old singing sensation captured hearts with her rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way in her first audition, which led to Amanda Holden pressing the golden buzzer.Despite cherishing every second on the show, the Kent-born star took issue with two things during the live shows, which left her feeling anxious.
She shared: "Both the semi-final and final, for one, I went last and I nearly threw up. They kept putting me on last, I was like, 'Guys, this is not fair two days in a row, Oh My Goodness'."She also recounted the nerve-wracking wait to hear if she'd won, adding: "And then, it was the waiting before they announced who won, it was awful.
I nearly had a full-on panic attack."After clinching victory in the final with a whopping 27.2 per cent of the vote share, Sydnie has since had an in-demand schedule which includes a performance at the Royal Variety Performance and a gig at the Hollywood Bowl stage for David Foster's 75th birthday celebrations next month.Recalling the invitation to sing alongside renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé and Jennifer Hudson, she shared: "It was crazy, it was over FaceTime so I tried to keep it cool, but after I couldn't cope with that, that's a dream come true.
