A man has been charged with the murder of a schoolboy after a sword attack in east London. Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo was charged with the murder of tragic Daniel Anjorin, 14, following the sword attack on Tuesday the Metropolitan Police said.
The 36-year-old was also charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article.
Monzo is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. The families of the victims have been informed, reports the Mirror.
Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith, who is leading the investigation, said earlier: “This is an incredibly tragic incident that has resulted in a young boy losing his life and his family devastated.
