Sweet Magnolias Is Coming Back for Season 4

Months after at the top spot on the streamer's chart, Netflix has ordered a fourth season of the heartfelt, fan-favorite series.JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott, and Heather Headley will all return as Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen—best friends who juggle relationships, family, and careers in the small town of Serenity, South Carolina.
Sweet Magnolias showrunner and executive producer Sheryl J. Anderson will also be back, in addition to fellow EP Dan Paulson.
The series is based on the popular series of novels of the same name from NYT best-selling author Sherryl Woods, who is also an executive producer on the series.The fourth season will , and the writers are currently working on the new season.
However, with the actors still on strike, the series most likely won't go into production until sometime in the spring of 2024.
