A man is due to face court after being charged with possession of a firearm in Salford. Greater Manchester Police arrested Fatjon Sadikaj on Friday, April 19.
It's alleged that a firearm was recovered on Chaddock Lane, in Worsley. GMP confirmed that it has since charged Sadikaj with possession of a firearm without certificate.
The 36-year-old has been remanded in custody. Sadikaj, of Gorton Street, Eccles, is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court. READ MORE: The unsettling horror which unfolded on a street where they had 'no problems' His next court hearing is on May 25, GMP says.
A police scene was in place on Gorton Street on April 19 and 20. GMP also arrested a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of possession of a firearm, drugs offences and child neglect.
