And while most people across the UK will have to wait until Christmas Day itself to open all their presents, there is a unique exception to the rule for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.The Royal Family follow their Germanic origins around the festive period and take part in a number of traditions that are not typically followed in the UK.

One of these is that the family open their Christmas presents from one another on Christmas Eve - but that's not to say that the younger royals don't get a visit from Father Christmas too.
