Superman star Dean Cain come under fire for complaining about wearing a mask on a plane. Most major airlines have advised people to wear a face covering on an aeroplane as international travel tries to navigate the "new normal" of flying amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But the American actor, 53, faced a backlash when he ridiculed wearing a face mask on a plane when he was on board a flight earlier this week.

Dean had no qualms mocking the health and safety precaution in a tweet to his 445.7K followers on Twitter. The producer snapped a selfie sat in his seat while he wore a covering with the American flag print.
