A fit and healthy young Scots dad has warned a stroke can happen to anyone after suffering a "terrifying" ordeal last week.
Active Tom Thomson, 40, was going about his day as normal when he lost his coordination and feeling in the left side of his body on Wednesday evening.
The dad-of-two, from Irvine, took a sip of water before slumping against the wall and realising he'd spilt his drink down him.
