The weather is set to be mostly dry with some sunny spells today - before Storm Agnes batters Greater Manchester with heavy rain and strong winds tomorrow.

Conditions are mostly cloudy across our region this morning (Tuesday), with sunny intervals forecast into the afternoon. According to the Met Office, temperatures will reach highs of around 19C today as the weather stays dry.

But from around 11am tomorrow the picture looks very different, as Storm Agnes is set to bring rainy and windy conditions to Greater Manchester and much of the UK.

A yellow weather warning for wind - which covers our region - comes into force at 12pm and will last until 7am on Thursday.
