jungle. The women's footballing icon - who was recently in the spotlight for being nominated for a Freedom of the City award in Sunderland - is set to be one of the new contestants this year, reports The Sun.
An inside source claims that the 35-year-old, who only recently announced her retirement from women's football in August, was a natural choice for the ITV reality staple. " I'm A Celebrity is set to get under way later this year, with a new group of stars living on basic rations and tackling the gruelling Bushtucker trials.
The show has been in Gwrych Castle in Wales for the last two years because of the coronavirus pandemic, but is now returning to Australia, which hosts Ant and Dec have said is its 'spiritual home'.
