Summer holiday 'green list' to be announced - which countries are likely to be on it?

Eager Brit holidaymakers are expected to find out which countries will be on the foreign travel "green list" next week. A formal announcement is expected in the coming days - signalling another step on the route back to normality.

It has been confirmed by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps that a traffic light travel system will be in place, based on four tests.

These are: vaccination rates, the number of coronavirus cases, the prevalence of "variants of concern" and the quality of testing data.

This will allow Brits to travel to "green list" countries in the near future - which could be as early as May 17. Do you have a view on this story?
