Sum 41 star claims former manager groomed him for sexual relationship

Deryck Whibley has made allegations that he was "groomed" by his former manager, who "pressured" him into a sexual relationship.The Sum 41 frontman was just 16 when he met Greig Nori, then 34.

Despite sharing a "special connection" on a creative level, Deryck alleges he suffered sexual and verbal abuse from the Treble Charger singer over the years.

Mr Nori strongly denied the allegations, telling the Globe and Mail that Deryck's claims were "false allegations", and saying he had retained a defamation lawyer.

In his new memoir Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, Deryck recounts how he first met Nori at a Treble Charger gig.
