Succession star Brian Cox announced as new patron of Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Brian Cox is overjoyed to be the new patron of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Scots actor, best known for his role in Succession, will be joining Eddie Izzard and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who are already part of the festival's team.The Dundee-born star is known for roles including Hannibal Lecter in Manhunter and the Bourne movies and he's a huge supporter of theatres and drama schools in Glasgow, Birmingham, London, and Dundee.
