Succession stars Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong are on course to make history at the 2023 Emmy Awards, according to a new report.
The 76-year-old actor is reportedly in the running for a Lead Actor Drama nomination at the upcoming awards show. The news comes after he played a key role in a shocking plot twist during an earlier episode. According to Variety, if Brian, Jeremy and Kieran are all granted nominations, it’ll be the first time that three actors from the same show would be competing for the honor.
While this would be a first in the Lead Actor Drama category, there have been three instances where three actresses from the same show have been up for the same award – Twice for The Golden Girls in the late ’80s and in 2005 for Desperate Housewives.
