A 20-year-old student with just days to live has married his girlfriend in an emotional bedside service - just four months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

With potentially only days to live, Owen Copland told his loved ones he wanted to wed his adoring girlfriend of two years, Sarah Jones, 21, who has been by his side every step of the way.

Their friends and family managed to arrange a service, which took place at his house in Liverpool, Merseyside, on March 8 - a commitment ceremony as opposed to a marriage in the eyes of the law.
