The terminally-ill father of the man found dead in Michael Barrymore’s pool does not believe he will get justice for his son before he dies.
Terry Lubbock was speaking after a 50-year-old held on suspicion of Stuart’s murder and indecent assault was released under investigation.
He said: “I don’t think I’ll be alive to see someone prosecuted for Stuart’s murder. “For me the clock is ticking and I can’t wait another 20 years for the hope of justice.” On Monday, Terry, 76, of Harlow, Essex, released a social media appeal for help.
He said: “We would like old witnesses to come forward and tell the truth.” Terry revealed in February he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
