Harry Paton says boss Stuart Kettlewell was a draw in his decision to sign for Motherwell, having played under him at Ross County before.
Canadian midfielder Paton says the mutual trust between the pair was a major factor, and hopes that continues into next season.
For now, Paton is contracted until the end of this current campaign, but is enjoying life at Fir Park, and wants to continue playing for as long as he can.
But the 24-year-old insists there was no panic when he was without a club for 10 months before Kettlewell gave him a call, having left Ross County in June 2022 after four years at the Dingwall club.
