Strig Artist Management Adds Christina Montojo As New Manager, Ups Maat Bates To Coordinator

EXCLUSIVE: Strig Artist Management is bolstering its team, bringing on Christina Montojo as Manager and promoting Maat Bates from Assistant to Coordinator.

Montojo moves to Strig Artist Management from Authentic Talent & Literary Management where she was previously a Comedy Coordinator specializing in multi-hyphenate clients.

Montojo’s career began at Innovative Artists, followed by a role as an assistant in the Talent Department at Anonymous Content, where she also oversaw the Inclusion Initiative Committee.

Montojo brings with her 2024 Tony Award winner Maleah Joi Moon (Hell’s Kitchen), Justin Tan (writer/producer/director, Abbott Elementary), Kate Peterman (writer/producer/actor, Abbott Elementary), Mozhan Navabi (Zero Day), Darryl Wesley (writer/actor, The Upshaws), Kanya Iwana (writer/director, Home) and Young Kang (writer/director/animator, Kang’s Kimbab). “Christina brings an immense level of passion and care into the representation of artists,” said Adam Segal, Founder & Owner, Strig Artist Management. “She is a perfect fit for the culture of the company and I have always admired her taste, professionalism, and kindness.” In Bates’ new role as Coordinator, she will be responsible for scouting and identifying talent to sign at the company.
