Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher has made his first jump from soap land to Hollywood as the former Emmerdale star makes his movie debut.
Kelvin, 36, played Andy Sugden on ITV's Emmerdale for 20 years, but recently quit the role and insisted he will not be returning any time soon.
He will now be appearing in a new World War II dram called We Go In At Dawn, playing a dashing secret agent. His character is special forces operative John Seabourne, who parachutes into occupied France in a bid to rescue Victor Lawrence.
Lawrence is one of the senior planners of the Normandy landings and he’s being held at a Prisoner Of War camp after being shot down.
