The Halloween Week episode of Strictly Come Dancing is always a treat thanks to the themed dances and mad costumes, and the show on Saturday 26 October has been no exception, with the judges, professional dancers and celebrities all getting into the spooky spirit.

While one of the best costumes of the night has to be pro dancer Carlo dressed as Claudia Winkleman, judges Craig Revel Horwood and Anton du Beke gave him a run for his money, arriving dressed in blue frilly dresses and black wigs as the scary twins from iconic horror movie The Shining.

However, Anton ended up having something of a fall out on the show – not with Craig, who lovingly called him his “twin sister” throughout the night – but with the long black wig he was wearing, that he kept getting tangled up. "I'm choking on my hair, I'm going to start getting a rash," he said as he tried to judge celebrity Jamie Borthwick's dance.

Fans were quick to spot his discomfort and commented on social media, with one writing: “Anton will end up with a hairball by the end of the programme,” while a second said: “The feud of the night is Anton and his wig.” Many fans loved his look, and that of his twin Craig, with one fan writing: “My jaw dropped to the floor,” about their outfits, while another said: “The Craig and Anton outfits might be the greatest thing to ever happen in Strictly.” Another pointed out how similar they looked to the original scary twins from the movie: “I am absolutely not coping with Craig and Anton dressed as the twins from The Shining.
