Strictly Come Dancing star and Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford's daughter has been rushed to hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties.
His partner, Susie Verrill, shared the worrying news on social media, posting a picture of their little girl in a hospital bed, just months after visiting the hospital with their son, after a bloody head injury.The couple, who also share sons Milo, nine, and Rex, six, were relieved when their three year old daughter Daphne started to improve after receiving steroids.
However, Susie admitted feeling guilty for not taking her to the hospital sooner. She thanked everyone for their kind messages and explained that they're usually able to manage croup - a condition that causes swelling in the upper airways of young children - with cold air, drinks and keeping the child calm.
But this time, doctors had to act quickly due to the severity of Daphne's symptoms. According to the NHS: "Croup is a common condition that mainly affects babies' and young children's airways.
