The professional dancer, who was previously married to show lothario Kevin Clifton, told pals they had broken up last week but insisted they are still on good terms.
Karen, 38, and David, 35, an opera singer, had talked about marriage just weeks before they called it quits. He has now moved out of her house in London, where he has lived during their romance.
A source said: “Karen and David have quietly ended their relationship. “It finished on good terms, they have a mutual respect for one another and there were no other parties involved – the relationship simply ran its course.
