Former Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole has revealed he's moved to Mallorca and will be sleeping in a tent with his family after 'quitting' the UK during lockdown. The 47-year-old said that while they wait for their new Spanish home to be refurbed, the family have "adventurous" plans for a glamping experience. The professional dancer told The Sun: "I've bought many houses over the years and I have always had the intention to refurbish them but have never gotten around to it and I have sold them and finally, we're doing a proper refurb on our house in Mallorca.
Brendan went on to explain that while the renovation was ongoing, they weren't able to live in the house and so made the decision to live in a 'glamping' tent.
However, he also wasn't shy to admit that he does some reservations about the idea, especially as it's set to get hotter during the summer months, something that he thinks could prove difficult while living in a tent.
Speaking about the new house, he continued: “We have stayed in it from time to time with the kids and, we had a moment of gin madness probably three or four months ago now when, over a couple of trips to Mallorca, we took this massive bell tent over with us." Brendan, who married wife Zoe in 2010, has uprooted his family, including daughter Aurelia and son Dante, to move their life abroad.
