The heat was turned up on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend but it seemed to bring out the best in Rose Ayling-Ellis. Rose was among those lucky few as she and her professional partner, Maura Higgins’ alleged ex-boyfriend, Giovanni Pernice was awarded their first 10 of the season.
They blew the judges away with their dramatic Viennese Waltz to Alicia Keys’ Fallin’, with Motsi Mabuse handing out the perfect score. ‘I don’t think I need to say anything because your dance spoke for itself.
This is the dance, that was the moment, it was magical,’ the judge told them. Rose, who is Strictly’s first deaf contestant, was overjoyed by her final score of 37, allowing herself to admit that it was ‘excellent’.
