Les, 69, who left Strictly at the weekend with his professional dance partner Nancy Xu, fell head over heels for Amanda three decades ago when he was 40 and Amanda was 22.
At the time, they were both starring in a production of The Sound Of Music and officially tied the knot two years later in 1995.
After a five year marriage, it was revealed that Amanda had an affair with her Happy Birthday Shakespeare co-star Neil Morrissey, leading to a brief split with Les.
