Strictly’s Kym Marsh knew it ‘wouldn’t work out for her’ if Graziano clashed with her family

Kym Marsh has made Strictly a family affair from the off and couldn’t wait to introduce her dance partner Graziano to her husband Scott Ratcliff and parents Pauline and David during a break from training.

But having her dad in the audience to watch her dance has been made even more poignant for Kym, 46, as she revealed she wants to make him proud.

He was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer last summer and now Kym, who’s incredibly close to both her parents, says she’s doing the show for them. “Kym’s family are her best friends and her biggest supporters, so it was really important for her to introduce them to Graziano,” a source said. “If he didn’t get on with her family then she knew the show wouldn’t work out for her.

He is part of her family now.” And luckily for Kym, Graziano, 28, said meeting her family was “the best day ever” and he has “found my second family”.
