Stubbornly, the professional dancer didn't make a comeback to the show because he confessed he didn't want to look like an "idiot".
Kevin, 37, shied away from reversing the decision because of the talk sparked by the "big announcement" he had already made about leaving.
He told The Sun : “There were a couple of conversations about it, like, is it worth talking about it? But then I thought, I’ve just made this big announcement.
