And at the same time as performing on Strictly, James is still just as busy at EastEnders as he continues to film the BBC One soap while rehearsing.
As such, James has revealed that his Strictly spray tan will need to be written into his character's storyline for continuity purposes.
Explaining how bosses will introduce Martin's new look, the actor told the Express : "I've just put a line in that I've been down to the beach for the weekend.
