Strictly's Anton Du Beke admits he gets 'dance envy' after new judging role

Strictly Come Dancing 's Tony Adams has explained why his first routine last weekend didn't go as planned. The former pro footballer and football manager debuted with dance partner Katya Jones on Saturday night, but found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard. Tony has now confessed why he didn't put on the best routine, or pull off the moves like he was meant to.

Gutted that their debut in the ballroom didn’t go to plan, Tony explained to It Takes Two host Rylan Clark what exactly was going through his head as he forgot all of his footwork.The former manager explained that before he took to the floor he felt like he was suffering from a panic attack, suffering from flashbacks to some frightening moments he had in his childhood.“The fear just got me, didn’t it?” Tony shared, looking to Katya for reassurance.
