Strictly's Amanda Abbington seen in tears as she's comforted by friend after Giovanni Pernice feud
ok.co.ukAmanda Abbington found solace in the arms of a friend and was visibly upset during a girls' day out in London.The esteemed 50 year old actress from hits like Mr Selfridge and Sherlock seemed overwhelmed as she received a consoling embrace from her actress friend Sue Vincent outside the famous The Groucho Club in Soho this past Wednesday.
This emotional moment follows Amanda's dramatic exit from last year's Strictly Come Dancing, which at the time she attributed to 'personal reasons'.
However, she has since levelled serious allegations against her former dance partner Giovanni Pernice, accusing him of "abusive or threatening behaviour" that left her "broken and in tears" and suffering from "mild Post Traumatic Stress Disorder".
Giovanni, who recently announced his departure from Strictly after a nine-year stint, has strongly denied these accusations and is determined to prove his innocence.The 33 year old dancer addressed his 1.1 million Instagram followers, dismissing the circulating stories as "totally untrue".
