Professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec has opened up about his post Strictly Come Dancing plans, admitting he wants to focus on being a “family man” in the immediate future.The 32-year-old announced he was leaving the BBC show after nine years in March to pursue new opportunities.
His decision came 12 months after his wife Janette Manrara made her departure from the BBC show to take over Zoe Ball as host of spin-off show It Takes Two.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, he said: “I’ve taken a long, hard time thinking about my future and I want to enjoy some Aljaž time. “I’m a guy from Slovenia who left home when I was 17.
I want to enjoy being a son and being with my family and my sister, who I’m so close to. “My nieces, I see them getting taller and growing up, and I get homesick.
