Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly faced her own battle away from the dance floor during the emotionally charged semi-final, her husband Vernon Kay has revealed.The star shared how Tess bravely held back tears on live television following an incredibly moving tribute.
It comes after Dianne Buswell praised her dance partner Chris McCausland, saying, "I have taught Chris all this time without a single visual cue," referring to Chris’s vision loss at 22. "He's not been able to look at a video back to see if he did a great job or needs to work on anything.
He's never been able to see his competitors, yet he's seen this competition so well because he's captured the spirit of the show.
I could not be more proud of him. He has shown that anything is possible." And while Chris was visibly moved, Tess also struggled to maintain composure as the camera returned to her.
