Rhys, 28, was eliminated from the competition last week after making it all the way to the semi-finals alongside his partner, Nancy Xu, 30.
AJ made the devastating announcement today that she’d no longer be taking part in the final, and Strictly fans have since called for Rhys to make a return tomorrow night, Saturday 18 September.
One person tweeted following AJ’s announcement: “Surely they’ll bring Rhys back for the final? Poor AJ and Kai.They must be gutted.” “I feel so sorry AJ is out of the Strictly final.
