Janette Manrara, the beloved former Strictly Come Dancing pro, has opened up about her longing to return to the BBC dance floor.

She couldn't contain her excitement and blurted out, "I want to go back!" after Shirley asked about her dance preferences. Fans were gutted when Janette bid farewell to the show in 2021 following an impressive eight-year run.
Reflecting on her departure, she expressed, "I'll definitely be an even bigger cheerleader, now I'm not involved. I've always been everybody's cheerleader, but especially of Aljaž [Škorjanec] because he's my husband; we're each other's biggest fan." Recalling the emotional moment she shared the news of her new role with her husband, she described his reaction: "When I told him I'd got It Takes Two, he was screaming and crying because he knew how big this was for me," Janette also took a moment to debunk the notorious 'Strictly curse', instead praising the show for strengthening their marriage, saying: "Everyone talks about the 'Strictly curse', but this show has been a blessing for our relationship because we've been able to do everything together." She wrapped up by saying: "So it's going to be a different dynamic for us but, nonetheless, an exciting one.
