The start date for Strictly Come Dancing has been announced online, days after contestant Dan Walker appeared to accidentally let a date slip.
During Wednesday's episode of BBC Breakfast, Dan, 44, appeared to let slip that the start date will in fact be 18 September, which is just over two weeks away.The presenter was talking to co-host Louise Minchin as she revealed that her last day on the BBC Breakfast sofa will be September 15.
Louise, 52, sweetly said: "I will be watching you and even vote for you. When does it start?" To which Dan replied: "Well, I was just going to put your date in the diary.
It actually starts, well, I meet, the meet and greet the partner in a couple of days time. "Then the first show is on the 18th and the live.
