Ellie Leach was seen begging her dance partner Vito Coppola for sympathy as she showed off one of her latest injuries during Strictly Come Dancing training.

The pair are currently hard at work in training for week three of the BBC One dance contest. Former Coronation Street star Ellie and Italian professional dancer Vito will be back in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 7) for the annual Movie Week.

The dancing couple will be dancing a Viennese Waltz to 'Waiting on a Miracle' from Disney's animated film Encanto. But it appears rehersals for their next performance hasn't come without some pain for Ellie - but Vito isn't quite feeling for his partner.

Taking to Instagram Vito filmed the actress, who played Faye Windass in the ITV soap for 12 years, as she sat on the floor of the training room.
