Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell may have just won the Strictly Come Dancing title, but they've already announced their 'split'.

Much to the disappointment of their fans who have supported them during their Strictly journey, the pair will sadly not be joining the show's upcoming live tour together. The comedian and professional dancer won over the nation with their undeniable bond and incredible routines, with Chris learning them all without any vision. They entered the final on Saturday night (14 December) as one of the most loved couples in the show's history, with betting odds suggesting they were the clear favourites to win - one bookie had them at 1/18 odds on favourites to triumph.

Despite being the obvious frontrunners, champions Chris and Dianne still faced a tough final. Like the other three couples, they had to perform three different dances in the ballroom, reports Chronicle Live. They started with their Couple's Choice, chosen by the judges, followed by their Show Dance, and finally scored their first-ever perfect 40 with their third and final number - a waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone.

Both Chris and Dianne were visibly emotional when the music stopped on their final performance. This emotional reaction might be because, unlike Sarah and Vito, JB and Lauren, and Tasha and Aljaz, they won't be joining the tour, meaning it was their last dance together. This leaves the show in an unusual and unfortunate situation where the winners are completely absent from the tour.
