Strictly Come Dancing issue 'sad' message for fans going to see live tour as stars are all smiles

Bosses behind the Strictly Come Dancing's live tour has sent a message to those heading to one of its shows. The stars of the show were all smiles on Sunday as they headed on the tour bus for the first time.

They spent last week rehearsing for the string of arena show and have now headed to their first venue to continue their practice until first show in Birmingham on Thursday (January 20).

But there is a message for anyone going to see the show - which stops in Manchester on January 29 and 30 at the AO Arena. "As we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe and well so that we can perform as scheduled, this year the cast will not be able to sign autographs, meet audience members or take photos with them. "We hope you understand this is done so that we can keeeep dancing and thank you in advance for your support and understanding." Many fans quickly started commenting, stating that they were 'gutted' by the news while also in complete understanding. "It’s so sad but it’s so important!

keeping the show on the road for the full tour is the priority and keeping the cast and crew safe! i’m just so happy we get to see them dance in real life and not through a screen!
