Strictly Come Dancing in schedule shake up - and dance show won't air on Saturday

Strictly Come Dancing will not be on our screens on Saturday night as usual, due to a TV schedule shake up. The semi-final has had to be moved due to the World Cup as on Saturday, England take on France in the quarter finals.Due to the 7pm football kick off on Saturday, the main dancing show will now air on Sunday, December 11 at 7.15pm on BBC One.The results show, which will see one couple eliminated, will now air on Monday, December 12 where the dancers will find out who has made it to the final.Also on the results show, there will be a special performance by Lewis Capaldi as he sings his brand new single Pointless.The Strictly Come Dancing final will air on Saturday, December 17, 7.30pm and it will finish at 9:35pm.Last week, Coronation Street star Kym Marsh was the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the show, just missing out on the semi-final.She went head-to-head with Molly Rainford in the dance-off after finding herself at the bottom of the leaderboard with 34 points but it was Molly who made it through to the next week.She said: “I never thought I’d get to this stage, in a million years.
