Strictly Come Dancing's head judge Shirley Ballas has been accused of favouring the male contestants, with some fans even calling her a "disgrace." She returned to the judging panel on Saturday (October 26) alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.
Despite all the contestants' best efforts to avoid elimination, Dr Punam Krishan and Shayne Ward found themselves in the dance-off.
Sadly, Morning Live's Punam was sent home with her partner Gorka Marquez, while ex-Corrie star Shayne advanced in the competition as all judges voted to save him. "Both couples danced remarkably well, but I would also have saved Shayne and Nancy", Shirley admitted during Sunday night's results show, sparking a flurry of reactions on social media accusing her of bias.
One disgruntled viewer wrote: "The thing is that Shirley would have voted to keep Shayne even if he'd played musical statues", adding, "She's all about the men and always has been.
