Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly eyeing up Tommy Fury for the new series. The Love Island star and professional boxer, 25, has had significant publicity last year and has taken part in boxing matches against rapper KSI and Jake Paul worth millions meaning that BBC chiefs could have their work cut out for them when it comes to fees. The show normally offers a flat rate of £25,000 but the multi-millionaire could turn his nose up to this offer.

Despite challenges with contracts, TV bosses are thought to be attracted to a younger demographic for next year's show. An insider told The Sun: "Bosses are trying everything to get Tommy on", reports the Daily Star. "They believe Molly-Mae in the audience would also pull in younger fans.

Producers believe he would be a hit with the ladies. But his pay demands are too high." The insider hinted that the Strictly team is hoping Tommy Fury will see the upside of attracting a "new type of follower" by joining the dance floor.

Although Tommy's decision is still up in the air, it's been whispered that Gladiator and former Olympic sprinter Nitro, whose real name is Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, is on the verge of sealing a deal with the show's bosses.
