Millie Bobby Brown has thrown her hat in to the ring to play the late music icon Amy Winehouse in a biopic. The 16-year-old Stranger Things and Elona Holmes star has her heart set on portraying tragic singer Amy who died in 2011 aged 27-years-old.
Amy’s father, 69-year-old Mitch Winehouse, announced earlier this year that he was planning to make a film of his daughter’s life – in a similar style to recent box office hits Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman which brought the lives of the late Freddie Mercury and icon Sir Elton John to the big screen.
While Milly has certainly got the ‘double threat’ elements of being able to act and being able to sing which might help her land the role.
