Storm Reid Not Returning for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3: ‘I’m So Glad That’s a Part of My Legacy’
variety.comEthan Shanfeld Storm Reid will not be returning for “Euphoria” Season 3, the actor revealed. “I’m very excited for Season 3,” Reid told Rotten Tomatoes on the Governors Awards red carpet. “Unfortunately, Gia’s not returning to the third season, but I am so so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show, to HBO.
Euphoria’s a really special thing and I’m so glad that that’s a part of my legacy and that I was a part of such a cultural phenomenon … I can’t wait to see what Season 3 has in store.” HBO declined to comment.
Reid starred as Gia, the younger sister of Zendaya’s Rue, in the first two seasons of “Euphoria,” which premiered in June 2019 and finished airing Season 2 in February 2022.
Production on Season 3 of “Euphoria” is set to begin in January. “We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy.
